Tickets are now on sale for BEE 4, the Fourth Annual Community-Wide Spelling Bee, on January 29, 2010, at the Irvington Town Hall Theatre. Tickets ($7 each) for this popular library fundraiser make a great holiday gift.
Reserve your seat by calling or going by the ITHT box office, 85 Main Street; phone 591-6602. Spelling starts at 7 p.m. Snow date: 1/31 at 11 a.m.
Friends of the Irvington Library, a sponsor of BEE 4, is now soliciting “Memorable Library Moments” from fellow river villagers both young and old. These stories (along with fan photos) will be posted at the library itself, with some highlighted at BEE 4. Forms are available both at the library (12 So. Astor St.) as well as online at the friendsoftheirvingtonlibrary.org website.
