Christian Pre-School at Dobbs Ferry Lutheran Church

Christian Pre-School is located inside Dobbs Ferry Lutheran Church on the corner of Ashford Ave. and Storm St. We have been in existence in the Rivertowns for the past 34 years.

Our program was awarded two distinctions this year. Our director, Deacon Sharon Brennen, was nominated "Early Childhood Director of the Year" by the Evangelical Lutheran Educational Association and our 5-day teacher, Arlene Manley, received an award in May for "Outstanding Early Childhood Teacher of the Year" by the Lutheran Schools Association.

We pride ourselves in being a quality, non-denominational Christian program with loving, caring teachers. Our curriculum has a balance between a child's need for play as well as providing exciting opportunities for learning through hands-on activities. One of our main goals is to encourage a child's empathy for others and to help each understand the importance of caring for the world God gave us. We are proud to see our families form relationships that serve the community around us.

For more information, please call Deacon Sharon Brennen at 914-693-0026
