Tarrytown Police Department Toy Drive

Police Chief Scott Brown filled an "Incident Command" vehicle with precious cargo last month. The vehicle responds to emergencies in a multitude of forms, but on one special day it was literally loaded to the roof with toys destined for children served by the Hawthorne Foundation in Valhalla, New York.

L to R: Rotarians, Gerry Riera, Mimi Goodwin, Scott Brown, & JoAnne Murray

Chief Brown wants to thank all those who helped make the toy drive so successful. They include the Rotary Club, Allan Block Insurance, Gibraltar Management Association and the PBA of Westchester. A special note of gratitude to all the people who donated toys which undoubtedly lit the hearts and minds of many at Christmas.
