Dixon Lane Antiques celebrates its fourth year in Tarrytown, though most residents would not know its warehouse/shop, off the beaten path, tucked away on a small private lane, a block away from Main Street.
Dixon Lane Antiques owners, Bruce Anderson and Aude-Claire Tremblay, share the same enthusiasm for their business: “We are ecclectic dealers trying to offer a wide and interesting variety of quality antique and vintage furniture, art and objects.” The pair moved to Tarrytown from Nyack where they had a shop for 15 years. “Although we have a loyal following of dealers, designers and private homeowners, we feel that it is time to let local residents know about us. However, because a constant turnover of inventory is essential to our business, we are away from the warehouse most days: shopping, meeting with our restorers, etc. With that and the recent birth of our baby girl, we are only open by appointment.
