International Tae Kwon Do Champion at Yoo’s Martial Arts!

Yoo’s Martial Arts is pleased to announce the arrival of Master Kwang Tae Kim, a 5th Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and 1st Place Champion in the 2005 Presidential Cup International Tournament.

Yoo's Martial Arts, TarrytownThis is his first visit to the United States and the students have welcomed him with open arms. When he first arrived at Yoo’s Martial Arts he spoke very little English, but the students quickly learned there was no lack of communication. He has a kind spirit, is a powerful teacher as well as a master in his art. He graduated from Keimyung University, Korea, with a Tae Kwon Do degree and also served as a coach specializing in self defense for the South Korean Army. Master Yoo, as well as the other Masters, instructors and students are fortunate to have such an enthusiastic, talented master join Yoo’s Martial Arts team. While we are learning many new things from Master Kim, he is also learning from his students and enjoying the experience of teaching and training at Yoo’s Martial Arts. He will return to Korea the end of June with many fond memories of his stay in Tarrytown. For more information, stop by the school to meet Master Kim, say hello and learn about the many different classes and trial sessions available at Yoo’s Martial Arts. Call (914) 333-0100 or visit them online at yoosma.com. They are located at 10 Main Street in Tarrytown.
