Trailside Nature Museum at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation, Route 35 and 121 South, Cross River – (914) 864-7322

Snowflakes! – 1 p.m.

Explore the delicate structure of snowflakes and their formations.

Wildflowers in Winter – 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Enjoy the beauty of wildflowers during winter by learning to identify them by their skeletons.

Volunteer Work Project – 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.

Bring work gloves and help paint the inside of the visitors’ center. Materials and tools provided.

Learn how the identify trees without their leaves during a hike through the farm.

Recycle some of the invasive vines at the preserve into a decorative wreath for your home. Pre-registration required by 4/22.
