Tony Fortunate of Briarcliff Manor and his partner Ken Lauro celebrate 2 Years at Rainwater Grill in Hastings. Rainwater Grill, located at 19 Main Street is the first such restaurant to accomplish that tenure since the famed Manzi’s occupied the space years ago. “We have a diverse menu and really try and cater to everyone in the area,” says Fortunate. “We’ve always loved the space and we really enjoyed molding it into our own.”
The main dining room seats up to 80 guests while the cascading waterfall presides over another 50 in the bar on busy nights. “We’re told that we’re a hidden gem,” says Lauro, “and that we have a great neighborhood vibe.” Guests enjoy exclusivity in the main room or can occupy the entire restaurant for private functions, making it an ideal place for showers, Christenings, anniversaries and birthday parties.
